Surrounded by 25 acres of live oak groves and tranquil lakeside views, Hewitt Oaks is Bluffton’s answer to the quintessential Lowcountry venue for weddings, events, and retreats.

Featuring both indoor and outdoor options for one-of-a-kind celebrations and meetings for up to 300 guests, let us take your stress of planning all the details so you can savor your experience within this relaxed and refined setting.

Although tucked away in the countryside, Hewitt Oaks is less than 10 minutes from downtown Bluffton, 30 minutes to downtown Savannah, and only 25 minutes to beaches on Hilton Head Island. With hundreds of restaurants, hotels, boutiques, historical sites, and art museums throughout, this is as charmingly Southern as it gets for entertaining your guests.

Southern Graces has a long-standing partnership with venues in Historic Beaufort, SC. 45 minutes to Bluffton, SC, 75 minutes to Charleston, SC, Beaufort is the little gem of the Lowcountry.

These venues all offer unique spaces for your ceremony and reception, as well as a corporate function, or small function. Having produced the most events in these three locations, we have the experience and expertise to make your event exquisite with ease!

HONEY HORN PLANTATION

Located on Hilton Head Island, SC at the Coastal Discovery Museum, Honey Horn Plantation offers the quintessential southern backdrop to any affair. 200 year old oak trees create a stunning canopy for outside weddings, rehearsal dinners and corporate functions.

The covered pavilion with exposed beams and fireplace has a seated capacity of 175 and with all the outdoor space available, the number of guests could go upwards of 500.

SHIPS OF THE SEA MARITIME MUSEUM

IN SAVANNAH, GEORGIA

Romantic Gardens in a historic setting… truly Savannah! Ships of the Sea Museum in downtown Savannah is surrounded by the largest privately owned garden in the historic district. The 1819 Scarbrough House is an elegant setting for the maritime collection.

The charming Scarbrough Garden is ideal for wedding ceremonies offering a large brick terrace nuzzled between the majestic Museum stairway and a pavilion. Under the shadow of a century-old Sycamore, this intimate garden is full of lush greenery complemented by seasonal plantings. The North Garden includes a Maple Grove and a pergola along a vine-covered brick wall. Follow the stairs down into the Assembly Room, bordered by a citrus grove and a natural garden.

This open-air, covered event space has in-house lighting, a catering room, restrooms, and a private bridal suite with a shower.
